West's Hornpipe - featuring reflection reels and a tricky bit at the end where the 4s emerge from a circle with 1s at the bottom to go straight into the next reel,
The Gentleman - very elegant but with lots of bits ending with all round or diamond poussette

Adieu Mon Ami - featuring 2 couple allemande and hello-goodbye setting (strathspey)
Pelorus Jack - think a pair off dolphins....
Rutland Reel - featuring ladies'chains and men's chains
Fireworks Reel - half reels of 4 and 3 in all directions with loops between them and hello-goodbye setting, all at speed!
30th November - St Andrew's Day
Johnnie Walker - the medley with petronella turns and a grand Chain
Minister on the Loch - starting with the all-round poussette , double figures of 8 and then sweeping turns to simulate skating on the loch as in Henry Raeburn's picture .
Starry - Eyed Lassie
Fisherman's Reel - the square one with reels of 3 at an odd angle with couples in promenade hold amd lots of changing places round the square

Jig to the Music - Featuring Do Si Do and Advance and Retire
Granville Market - Featuring Right and Left Hands Across, Half figure of 8 and turning corners
Jessie's Hornpipe Featuring Arches and Poussette
MacDonald of the Isles - Diagonal Reels of 4, snowball chain, half rights and lefts
Bon Viveur - The square Medley, 2 slow, 2 fast with men's chain and Schiehallion reels.
Inchmickery- the 5 couple set where the dancing couple turned far corners and started and ended with a circle ( in different directions). Also included teapots.

16th November
Good Hearted Glasgow - Featuring Right and Left Hands Across ( Teapots)
The Provost Wynd - the one that starts with reels of 3 on the sidelines, then some unusual turning (1M with 2 L) and vice versa before ending with Right and Left Hands Across.
Fair Donald- the strathspey with diagonal reels of 4 and 2 handed turns.
Inchmickery- the 5 couple set where the dancing couple turned far corners and started and ended with a circle ( in different directions). Also included teapots.
Swiss Lassie- the very quick one we did in 3 couple sets with a reel of 4 up and down the middle, some chasing and turns merging into hands across.
College Hornpipe the one that featured Hello-Goodbye Setting ( Set to Corner & Partner) and a promenade.
MacDonald of Keppoch- the medley with 3/4 Right and Lefts then 2 Reels of 4 at 90 degrees.
9th November
The Honeymoon - the one that starts with the dancing couple casting to the bottom and back. Also includes Right and Left Hands Across.
Roxburgh Castle- the one where we danced round a square to start, did Right & Left Hands Across and ended with the Poussette.
Inchmickery- the 5 couple set where the dancing couple turned far corners and started and ended with a circle ( in different directions). Also included teapots.
Gordonian Strathspey - introducing Set and Link with left shoulder reels, teapots and a 3 couple allemande.
John of Bon Accord - the really tricky one with 4 half reels where we struggled to know whether we should be doing right or left shoulder reels. I'm still not sure I could do it without Willie!
Staircase in Styria - The glorious, mad one where we all whirl about, the ladies lead and men follow. Lots of the teapot formation.
Silver Grey - The slow one where we did 3/4 Rights and Lefts after the circle
Craven Twelvesome - The one in a big square, 3 to each side, featuring the reel of 3 and left hands across for the men.
2nd November
Festival Interceltique - the round the room warm-up dance
Findlay's Jig - the one with a 3 couple allemande.
White Cockade - featuring Rights and Lefts
Corn Rigs - the one featuring the quick time poussette.
Alison Rose - the really tricky one with some clever steps to get all the men at the top and all the ladies at the bottom prior to the ladies doing Right Hands Across and the men Left Hands across and then each couple crossing in turn to the other wheel. As if that wasn't enough it ended with a 4 couple allemande! The saving grace is it was a slow one, a strathspey with Pink Panther music.
Catch the Wind -the one where the lady is followed by the man but only lets him catch her at the end
Features the reel of 3 across.
Mrs McPherson of Inveran with the original Inveran reels and a Grand Chain in a longwise set.
Round Reel of Eight - the square one which was danced just 1 time through. It started with lots of chasing round the square and featured 2 couples promenading inside the square and acknowledging the others.The Grand Chain was done in 2 halves as were the Rights and Lefts.
26th October
Lintons Ploughman - the one with a circle and Right Hands Across then Left Hands across. We did an allemande rather than poussette at the end.
Miss Welsh's Reel- The first dance of the evening turning corner, partner, corner ,partner. Also featured Right Hands Across then Left Hands across back.

Light and Airy - Another one featuring an allemande and the same Corner, Partner, Corner, Partner. We're getting there faster now!!

19th October

Galloway House - we substituted figures of 8 for the rights and lefts

12th October
Charlestown Chaser - The one with a lot of chasing round and ending with 3 claps!
Leap Year - Featuring Right and Left Hands Across
Silver Grey - The slow one where we did 3/4 Rights and Lefts after the circle
Granville Market - Featuring Right and Left Hands Across, Half figure of 8 and turning corners
5th October
Its All Right - The one with a lot of chasing round to warm up!
Berwick Johnny - Featuring the Allemande and Corner,Partner,Corner,Partner sequence

Miss Gibson's Strathspey - Featuring the Knot, Corner, Partner turns and teapots
Duke of Perth - More Corner,Partner,Corner Partner. Very fast so we were allowed to use elbow grip!
